Pleasure Beach Resort has confirmed its new £8.72m Aviktas ride will officially open on 21 May, swinging customers up to a height of 138ft.

The attraction is capable of seating 80 riders at a time, and its opening comes as the Pleasure Beach marks a milestone anniversary.

As well as the opening of Aviktas, the attraction is also offering enhanced ticketing options and expanded entertainment this season, with “a renewed focus on value and flexibility.”
