Punch Pubs has announced it is to double its single-site acquisition run rate over the next 12 months, after adding 35 pubs to its UK estate during the most recent financial year.
The operator now boasts more than 1,300 venues across the country, with six sites being added to the portfolio in the past fortnight alone.
“2025 is shaping up to be a transformative year for Punch and we’re not slowing down any time soon,” said head of acquisitions, Andrew Cannons. “We’re aiming to double our single-site acquisition run rate over the next 12 months.
“With more single-site and package acquisitions already in the pipeline, we remain fully committed to growing our estate and welcome all discussions – whether for packages or single-site opportunities.”
The continued growth plan comes after Punch reported revenue for the 40 weeks to 18 May was up 4.2 percent from £241.5m to £251.7m, while earnings for the fourth quarter were also up year on year.
Celebrating the recent expansion of its pubs estate, Punch group property director Stephen Allen said: “Whether already thriving or just beginning their journey with us, these pubs are central to our vision of becoming the five-star pub company.”
