Quentin Stott: “It was one of our busiest ACOS events to date”

It was a buoyant and confident Reflex on show at ACOS this year with MD Quentin Stott clearly enthused by the portfolio gracing the west London stage. One of the hottest properties for the company at the expo was Flaming 500, its latest B3 which is performing “exceptionally”. The Reflex Gaming Cat Community menu and new launches Super Bullion Community and Devil’s Delight also upped the temperature. It was clearly a very good show for the company.

Coinslot: It was an anniversary ACOS as the show marked its 10th year. Was there much to celebrate for Reflex in terms footfall and business conducted during the two days?

Quentin Stott: ACOS was a fantastic success for us. Our stand was buzzing from start to finish, with a steady flow of visitors from every corner of the industry.

We genuinely had something for everyone – from AGC and Bingo operators to single-site customers.

We had a steady flow of orders throughout both days, making it one of our busiest ACOS events to date.

Coinslot: You brought your crowd pulling innovations to the stand, so tell us a bit about the portfolio itself and the kind of reaction they
garnered.

Quentin Stott The undisputed star of the show was our newly launched B3, Flaming 500.

It’s been on fire, quite literally, with the early installs performing exceptionally well ahead of the show.

With our 365-day inclusive subscription model and highly competitive pricing, customer confidence translated into strong commitments. Both outright purchases and our popular “trial-to-buy” option gained real traction.

Our Cat C Community menu also drew plenty of attention, offering flexible formats for every venue type and budget, particularly in the arcade and bingo sectors.

Meanwhile, single-site customers were excited by Cyclone and the all-new Phoenix menu, with plenty of interest in conversions too.

Coinslot: Were there any notable wins from the two days – new agreements, installations, partnerships?

Quentin Stott Yes – plenty! Even as the show opened, Flaming 500 was being delivered and installed with early-adopting partners and the initial results are extremely encouraging.

We’re fortunate to have a loyal customer base that continues to order throughout the year, but it’s always great to see them in person and confirm more deals at the show.

Big wins at ACOS included confirmed orders following the successful launches of Super Bullion Community for AGC and Bingo estates and Devil’s Delight – which has been a hit across both land-based and online channels.

Coinslot: ACOS is always a good barometer of the mood in the market and this year was no exception. How would you describe the mood and what were the main talking points?

Quentin Stott: The mood was upbeat, more buoyant than we expected and there was a real sense of unity across sectors. Everyone we spoke with shared a common optimism and an appreciation that we continue to innovate, even in the absence of regulatory or financial advantages.

Of course, MGD and the imminent Autumn Budget were hot topics, but despite the challenges, there’s still a collective drive to keep the industry vibrant and moving forward.

Coinslot: With a brief break between now and January’s EAG, what new innovations or projects can we expect at the London show?

Quentin Stott: We’ll be taking everything we’ve learned from the Flaming 500 suite’s early performance and building on that momentum into the new year.

Ahead of Christmas, we’re rolling out a major update for Community Cat C and Chrome customers, expect a full pack of 5 fresh titles including one new Community game and four new Maxplay and Gamble+ titles, all timed for the festive season.

For our B3 customers, the next game pack will be deployed remotely, bringing Flaming 500 four new proven theme, each boosted by the £500 jackpot and another exciting twist coming in Q1.

Our single-site roadmap is equally strong. Devil’s Delight continues to deliver at cashbox level and we’ve got a solid pipeline of monthly releases scheduled well into next year. It’s safe to say that our momentum is showing no signs of slowing down.
