This year’s Irish Gaming Show was a landmark event for Reflex Gaming, with the firm exhibiting for the first time after years of regular attendance. Speaking to Coinslot, business development director Mark Purdy explained how the show provided a “great opportunity” to showcase the company’s range as new opportunities open in the Irish market.
After years of attending the Irish Gaming Show, Reflex Gaming returned to the Dublin Crowne Plaza this year as an exhibitor, showcasing a host of market-leading gaming menus and cabinets.
Speaking to Coinslot, business development director Mark Purdy explained how 2026 is the perfect time for Reflex to exhibit its impressive range of products in the country, with changing regulation delivering new opportunities.
“We’ve attended the show many times over the years, but this was actually the first time we exhibited, so it was a great opportunity for us to showcase what we’re bringing to the market,” said Purdy.
“On stand we highlighted our B3 £500 jackpot offer, Flaming 500, presented across two of our standout cabinet configurations – the immersive Twin Screen Cyclone and our all-new, visually striking Cyclone Curve.”
As well as reporting “a great atmosphere” and “a steady stream of both existing partners and potential new customers to the stand,” Purdy added “as is often the case with industry events in Ireland, some of the best business conversations happened away from the stand – typically at the bar with a pint of the black stuff in hand.”
“We were pleased to see strong attendance from customers travelling over from England as well as operators from Northern Ireland, and these conversations generated the majority of our show orders.”
Observing that Irish gaming trends appear to be “very much aligned” with the UK and the wider global gaming sector, Purdy said “successful game themes, engaging mechanics and strong brands continue to resonate with players.”
“We believe titles from our portfolio such as Super Bullion, Piggies Prize Party and Star 7s will be particularly well received in the Irish market, as they bring the kind of familiar, proven gameplay that operators know performs well.”
With new regulations changing the face of the market across the country, Purdy added that Reflex is “closely evaluating the opportunities.”
“Attending the show’s seminar programme was extremely valuable for our team, helping us better understand the regulatory landscape, expected timescales and potential product requirements for the future. It’s an evolving market, and we’re keen to position ourselves to support operators as the sector develops.”
