Romford MP pays visit to local Admiral to unveil defibrillator

Romford MP Andrew Rosindell visited the Admiral AGC on South Street last month to unveil a new defibrillator, the latest life-saving device that operator Luxury Leisure has installed as part of its commitment to public safety.

During his visit, Rosindell spoke with staff about the business, the importance of regulation in the gambling industry, and the continued work that Admiral employees do to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

“I was delighted to visit Romford’s Admiral venue again and this time to unveil the new lifesaving defibrillator they have installed at the site,” he said.

“I heard from staff how, given the venue operates during extended hours, it will be available to provide crucial medical assistance to the local community.”

Members of staff at the AGC have been trained to use the defibrillator, and the installation is also registered on the paramedic Link system.

“We were thrilled that Mr Rosindell came to our venue to unveil the new defibrillator that has been installed,” said regional operations manager Mark Barber.

“This highlights the incredibly important work that Admiral does within the communities in which they are based by providing lifesaving equipment for public use, as well as demonstrating the integral role that Admiral and our staff play in keeping high streets alive.”
