Serial arcade thief denies Manchester AGC attack

A man accused of causing damage to two slot machines at an Admiral AGC in Manchester in 2024 has denied the charges against him at Bolton Crown Court.

Niamat Shehrani, who has previously been arrested for stealing cash from Betfred Wigan and Storey’s Amusements in Leeds, will face prosecution later this month.

“Niamat Shehrani, 33, of Upper George Street, Tyldesley, stood before Bolton justices to face the single charge of causing £1,722 damage to two slot machines belonging to the Admiral Arcade in Manchester on 4 August, 2024,” reported Wigan Today.

“A plea has not yet been entered and Shehrani is due to return to the court for a further hearing on June 30.”

In December last year, Shehrani was remanded into custody by Manchester magistrates after appearing before them charged with a theft from Betfred, as well as the robbery of jewellers in Manchester and Longsight.
