Showcasing Success: How Novomatic Gaming UK plan to shape the future of gaming at EAG 2025

Novomatic sales director Kevin Temple heads to EAG full of confidence in an “incredibly buoyant” AGC and bingo market, and armed with a new portfolio of best-in-class cabinets and content.

Coinslot: This year is an important EAG with new gambling regulations and legislation on the horizon. What are you hoping to get from January’s show?

Kevin Temple: 2024 was an incredible year for us, with strong momentum in both machine and content sales.

This year’s London Casino & Gaming Show presented by EAG is the perfect platform to keep that momentum going by showcasing the groundbreaking features and exciting new content on B3 Novo Line, Magic Games Premium HD B3, and Magic Games Premium HD Cat C.

It’s a chance not only to connect with our existing customers but also meet new ones. We want to demonstrate to the industry just how expansive our game menus are and how they appeal to a wide audience.

Our games are designed with each and every player in mind, not just focusing on one or two standout titles, but ensuring there’s something for everyone.

The show is also a valuable opportunity to gather market intelligence from operators. Understanding market trends and gaining insights into what operators are looking for will help us continue to innovate and deliver what the market needs.

Beyond that, we’re looking forward to securing repeat business from customers who saw the exceptional performance of our products last year, and we’re excited to meet new customers who are seeking innovative and reliable solutions.

Coinslot: There will be a great deal of emphasis on new launches at ExCeL. Can you give us an idea of what new innovations the visitors will be seeing on your stand on 14-16 January?

Kevin Temple: We’re excited to present a range of new innovations at the exhibition. Visitors to our stand will get to experience the new Magic Games Premium HD B3 content pipeline for 2025, as well as an updated Cat C content package that’s set to engage players in new and exciting ways.

We’ll also be showcasing the latest B3 Novo Line roadmap, which highlights the next generation of games designed to elevate the player experience. nother key highlight is under wraps for now…to experience it for yourself you will have to visit us at stand N40!

This stunning addition blends cutting-edge design with exceptional gameplay, and we’re confident it will draw plenty of attention from operators and players alike.

Coinslot: We obviously expect to see your best sellers and the reliable favourites on display. What products were pulling up the trees during 2024 and how did they perform in venues last year?

Kevin Temple: 2024 was a fantastic year for our best-performing products, and we’ve been thrilled with their results across the UK.

B3 Novo Line has been a standout performer in every area, particularly in bingo and AGC venues, where its reliability and appeal have been unmatched. Big Bass Bonanza was another huge success, winning over players with its engaging gameplay and familiar online fisherman character. Lucky Lady’s Charm Super Games, featuring the groundbreaking ‘Super Credits’ feature, was a real hit as well. Cash Connection, Irish Locks impressed with its innovative step-up Cash Connection feature, which has been a strong draw in venues.

Our cabinets, including the Diamond X, Black Edition II 32” and 27” models, and the New V.I.P. X Dream, have also performed exceptionally well. These products have delivered consistent results and continue to be favourites for both operators and players.

Coinslot: What do you need from the government’s gambling review, and indeed from their general policies this year?

Kevin Temple: What we need most is a balanced approach from the government. It’s vital that innovation and creativity are not stifled by over-regulation or red tape. Relaxing the machine number ratios and providing a clear and defined legislative path would go a long way in supporting growth and enabling the industry to flourish.

When it comes to the gambling tech standards review and general policies, we’re calling for an evidence-based approach to safer gambling. Protecting players is, of course, a high priority, but it’s important that these measures don’t hinder growth or innovation.

By allowing the industry to grow and ideas to flourish, we can ensure a better, more entertaining experience for players.
