Charitable Trust used the popular industry event to officially launch the BCT Smile! initiative. The national fundraising programme will attempt to raise £10,000 to help bolster Bacta Charitable Trust funds.
Announcing the initiative Nick Harding said: “Smile! aims to bring together members of the industry, their suppliers and customers in a festival of fundraising. Our campaign theme is ‘A week of giving – a world of difference’ and I hope that as many members of the industry will get behind what we are trying to achieve.”
He added: “I am extremely grateful to John Stergides and Mark Horwood for helping to launch Smile! at an event which has a distinguished fundraising history supporting the work of the Bacta Charitable Trust.”
“Smile! provides an opportunity to put the industry front and centre stage and reflect the huge amount of positive work undertaken by businesses in their communities.”
