Stockvale Group flies the flag for cash

The Stockvale Group has confirmed it will retain cash as a means of payment at both Adventure Island and Sea-life Adventure, in a bid to keep its attractions “open, inclusive, and accessible.”

Speaking via social media, operations director James Miller announced that customers who prefer or rely on coins and notes will always be welcome, despite a rise in the number of card-only businesses.

“These days, a lot of places have gone card-only, but at Adventure Island, Sealife Adventure, and all our Stockvale businesses, we’re proud to still welcome cash,” said Miller. “Not everyone uses cards or digital payments, and that shouldn’t stop anyone from having a great day out. Whether you’re paying with coins, notes, or tapping your phone, you’re always welcome here.”

Highlighting the “wonderfully diverse mix of guests” that frequent Stockvale’s attractions, Miller added “that variety is a big part of what makes Adventure Island so special.”

“We know not everyone has access to the same tech or payment options, and that’s okay. By continuing to accept cash, we’re making sure our parks stay open, inclusive, and accessible for everyone – because having fun shouldn’t depend on how you choose to pay.”
