Target Darts Zone helps the Rudd Group “push the boundaries” of in-venue entertainment

The Rudd Group has announced the latest in its growing calendar of virtual events will be a Target Darts Zone “Virtual Beat the Pro” Night featuring darts sensation Beau Greaves, part of the company’s ongoing drive to “push the boundaries” of in-venue entertainment.

The Rudd Group is continuing to “push the boundaries” of in-venue entertainment with a new Virtual Beat the Pro Night, which utilises the company’s innovative Target Darts Zone to pit local pub players against darts sensation Beau Greaves.

The 10 April event is the latest in a growing calendar of virtual Target Darts Zone events, helping participating venues deliver immersive, interactive experiences that drive footfall and keep customers engaged for longer.

“Broadcast live from the Target Darts headquarters, Beau will go head-to-head with players at the Star and Garter, who have been hosting in-venue competitions to find their strongest challengers,” said a spokesperson. “These qualifying events have built excitement locally, giving players the chance to earn their shot at taking on one of the sport’s brightest stars.”

“On the night, selected players will step up to the oche to try and ‘Beat the Pro’ in real time. Those who succeed will be rewarded with exclusive signed Target Darts merchandise – adding a tangible prize to an already unforgettable experience.”

The seamless virtual competition is powered by Target Darts Zone’s cutting-edge Virt Camera technology, enabling live, interactive gameplay between venues and players anywhere in the country.

“It’s a clear demonstration of how technology is transforming traditional pub games into high-impact entertainment events. For those not playing, the event can also be enjoyed remotely via the DartCounter app, offering a fun and accessible way for darts fans to follow the action live and feel part of the occasion.”

The virtual darts phenomenon

Beyond one-off events, the Rudd Group continues to scale its virtual darts offering nationwide. Its Target Darts Zone National Pub Tournament has quickly become the largest linked pub darts competition in the UK, allowing venues to put forward their best players to compete against others across the country, creating a “true community-driven, competitive environment.”

The next national tournament will take place on 15 April, with players once again battling it out for the title of UK Pub Darts Champions.

“With its blend of technology, competition, and live entertainment, Target Darts Zone is helping operators attract new audiences, increase dwell time, and unlock new revenue opportunities – proving that the future of pub gaming is not just digital, but social, scalable, and exciting.”
