Thinking inside the box: Game Nation recognises excellence and promotes from within

The industry has a track record of providing career paths for talented and ambitious people. Game Nation is upholding that reputation confirming three internal promotions in the space of a month.

Game Nation, the UK’s third largest high street AGC operator has confirmed the promotion of three colleagues from within its growing team.

The trio which have served Game Nation for a combined total of over 30-years, comprise

who has been promoted from Area Support Manager to Compliance and Income Protection Auditor, Jodie Mudaliar who has progressed from Marketing Assistant to Marketing Manager and former Area Support Manager, Nicola Cox-Malia  who becomes Regional Operations Manager.

Reflecting on the appointments, Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp said: “I’m absolutely delighted that the appointments to three key roles are all internal promotions. It’s a personal highlight when we are able to provide talented ambitious colleagues with a clear and defined career path.

“From a practical perspective it means that we retain talent within the business ; but in addition it also sends out a powerful message that Game Nation is absolutely serious about developing its people and is the place where individuals can forge a really rewarding career.”

He noted: “My own career began in 1987 working in arcades for the Thomas organisation and throughout the 40+ years representing a whole host of well-known brands I have been immensely proud that the industry isn’t afraid to promote people from within. It’s a mindset that I have benefitted from and that I am 100 percent committed to having in place at Game Nation.

“Investing in our people is key and I look forward to seeing the continued progression of Katt, Jodie and Nicola as they make telling contributions both to the Game Nation business and to the broader industry.”
