Ahead of the first May bank holiday, Whitehouse Leisure unveiled a brand-new window display at Hamleys through their Posh Paws retail division, showcasing its trend-led, Korean-inspired Kawaii Kuties plush toys and gifts. And it was a real head turner for the London audience.
It is a world famous showcase, located at the iconic Regent Street store, and Whitehouse Leisure’s Kawaii Kuties will occupy the window display for the six weeks. From Thursday 30 April through to Tuesday 9 June – and spanning both May bank holiday weekends – Hamleys will be home to the Korean plush phenomenon. With tens of thousands of visitors and passersby each day, the Whitehouse installation offers exceptional exposure, inviting customers into the store to explore and purchase the popular Kawaii Kuties range on the second floor.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the business,” the official company statement noted. “Partnering with Hamleys to feature Kawaii Kuties in the largest front-facing window highlights the growing strength and appeal of the brand. Being selected for such a prominent display in the heart of London underscores Whitehouse Leisure’s continued investment in establishing Kawaii Kuties as a leading pop-culture brand, both in the UK and internationally.”
And it is a coup as Lauren Shipman, Group Brand and Marketing Director, alluded. “Seeing our Kawaii Kuties brought to life at such an iconic toy store is incredible and a testament to its strength, appeal and success since we launched in 2024.”
“We’re continuing to invest in fresh products, trend-led designs and impactful marketing campaigns to further establish the brand in the UK and internationally, and seeing strong demand from licensing partners to extend Kawaii Kuties into new categories, that is very exciting.”
It is a significant project for Whitehouse Leisure which has continued to invest heavily in marketing and promoting the brand since its launch in the summer of 2024. The company explained: “The schedule has included heavyweight influencer content and social media advertising across TikTok and META, eye-catching crane kits and retail displays to bring this fun and trending brand to life for consumers brand by engaging them from amusement venues to high street stores across the world.”
Following the increasing demand and growing interest for the brand to be licensed out into new product categories outside of Whitehouse Leisure existing catalogue, they will be showcasing Kawaii Kuties at Brand Licensing Europe this October , marking another first for the company.
