Bowling operator Lane7 has reported revenue for the year to October 20204 was up 30 percent thanks to a raft of new openings, with the company now securing a larger debt facility in order to support “further expansion opportunities.”
Lane7 has reported revenue for the 12 months to October 2024 increased 30 percent year-on-year to £29.1m, thanks to a slate of new venue openings across the UK.
Though overall profit for the period declined from £4.2m to £2.8m, the company confirmed it remains focused on “a healthy pipeline” of growth over the coming year.
“With a proven track record since we launched our very first site in 2013, we continue to successfully launch new and exciting entertainment venues including bowling, gaming, food and beverage,” said a director’s report.
“This financial year has been about consolidation and building the foundations for the next phase of growth. We have expanded our executive team, further strengthened our senior management team, developed our strategy around the new site expansion pipeline and continued to improve our commercial operations to drive organic growth.”
Operating profit for the period was down from £5.4m to £5.03m, while pre-tax profit declined to £4.7m from £5.3m, however Lane7 remains determined to invest in expansion.
Since the end of the most recent reporting period, the company has opened two more sites in Newcastle, two in Dublin, and one in Milton Keynes, with the directors maintaining “an optimistic view for the future based on a healthy pipeline for opening new sites across the UK and further afield across Western Europe.”
“In addition, a larger debt facility was completed with Barclays Bank in June 2025 giving the group further access to funding should it be required to continue to support further expansion opportunities.”
