It was a buoyant Ask Global that emerged from EAG 2026. Fivos Polymniou tells Coinslot how the show served to accelerate its plan for the year, aided and abetted by a portfolio that was described by some as “forward thinking” and “commercially practical”.
Coinslot: How did the show go for you this year: did it meet your expectations?
Fivos Polymniou:The show was extremely positive for us this year and absolutely met, if not exceeded our expectations.
We had strong engagement from operators, productive conversations with key decision‑makers, and clear validation of the direction we’re taking with our payment, kiosk, automation solutions and initiative products.
Importantly, we didn’t just generate interest – we closed several meaningful deals during the event itself. That immediate conversion is a real indicator of both market confidence and the urgency operators feel around working with partners who understand their estates.
What’s equally exciting is the number of new, expansive opportunities that have opened up as a result of the show. We’re now in discussions that extend well beyond our original pipeline, including larger multi‑site deployments and strategic partnerships that could significantly accelerate our growth.
Overall, it was a highly successful show that reinforced demand for what we’re building and expanded the scale of what’s now possible for Ask Global.
If there is a negative of this show, it’s the timing of the event, many operators shared their feeling on cost and timing, moving towards March seemed the prefer date range by many.
Coinslot: Any key developments finalised at EAG – new agreements signed, new appointments, installations agreed etc?
Fivos Polymniou:Yes, EAG proved to be a highly productive show for us, with several key developments finalised during the event. We secured new commercial agreements with both existing partners and new operators, including confirmed installations for our latest payment and kiosk solutions.
These commitments give us a solid pipeline for the first half of the year and reinforce the market’s appetite to work with a partner who design products that fit the commercial and operational requirements in today’s demanding commercial backdrop.
We also advanced a number of strategic discussions that have now moved into formal negotiation, opening the door to larger multi‑site deployments and broader technology partnerships.
Overall, EAG wasn’t just a showcase – it was a catalyst for tangible progress across sales, partnerships, and operational expansion.
Coinslot: What were the stand highlights – which products caught the attention and what was reaction to your portfolio of products?
Fivos Polymniou:The stand generated a huge amount of interest this year, and several products really stood out for visitors.
Our new payment solutions were a major draw, particularly the speed, reliability, and flexibility they offer operators looking to modernise their estates. The kiosk range also attracted a lot of attention, with many people commenting on the build quality, user‑friendly design, across our portfolio.
What really resonated was the completeness of our offering. Operators appreciated that we’re not just providing individual products, we’re delivering a connected ecosystem that simplifies operations, reduces downtime, and enhances the player experience. The reaction across the board was extremely positive, with many visitors saying our portfolio felt both forward‑thinking and commercially practical.
The stand became a hub for meaningful conversations, and the feedback reinforced that our solutions are aligned with where the market is heading. And a price point that helps customer maximise their capex requirements.
Coinslot: It’s going to be a defining year for the business – new legislation and new regulation. How did you gauge the general mood of the industry and what were the main talking points?
Fivos Polymniou:The mood across the industry this year felt cautiously optimistic. Everyone recognises that the gambling commission focus on new regulatory measures is shaping how operators plan and invest.
The conversations on our stand reflected that clearly. A major talking point was the Commission’s ongoing implementation of the White Paper reforms, particularly the new rules aimed at increasing safety and tightening compliance. Operators were especially focused on the upcoming changes around financial vulnerability checks and enhanced age‑verification requirements in premises, which the Commission has confirmed as part of its wider update to increase consumer protection. There was also a lot of discussion about the shift toward more stringent reporting expectations, including changes to key event reporting thresholds.
What stood out was that operators weren’t resisting these changes, they were looking for practical, future‑proof solutions to stay compliant without adding operational friction. That’s where our portfolio resonated strongly. The demand for reliable payment technology, automated processes, and integrated systems is being driven directly.
Overall, the sentiment was clear: the industry understands the direction of travel, sees regulation as an opportunity to modernise, and is actively seeking partners who can help them navigate the transition confidently and efficiently. Ask Global products help customers navigate this complex landscape.
Coinslot: Now the show is over, what’s on your agenda going into spring in terms of new products, new projects and more exhibitions?
Fivos Polymniou:Now that the show has wrapped, our focus going into spring is firmly on delivery and expansion.
We’re rolling out a series of new product enhancements across our payment and kiosk portfolio, all designed to give operators future‑proof solutions that keep them ahead of both customer expectations and regulatory change. The response at EAG has accelerated several projects, and we’re now moving into deployment phases with a number of clients who want to product quickly and confidently.
We’re also advancing new integrations and automation initiatives that will streamline operations for multi‑site operators, an area where demand has grown sharply as the industry prepares for the summer months ahead.
Our roadmap is built to ensure that every product we release not only performs exceptionally but aligns with customer high expectations, giving our clients the reassurance that they’re investing in proven technology, and partners they can trust today and into the future.
On the exhibition front, we’ll be maintaining a strong presence throughout the year. Several key events are already in the diary, and we’ll be using them to showcase the next wave of developments and continue building the partnerships that are driving our growth.
In short, spring is about momentum, new products, new projects, and a continued commitment to giving operators a partner who understands the regulatory environment and equips them to move forward with confidence.
