The operator of Bournemouth Pier has announced a 25 percent discount for families visiting RockReef and PierZip this summer, in response to the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative.
The offer comes on top of Adventure Attractions’ decision to suspend the entry toll “indefinitely” as of March, with the company investing £700,000 in ensuring the attraction remains free to enter until at least 2029.
“The Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative is a really positive step in making family leisure more accessible, and we wanted to go even further,” said MD Sarah Hunter. “Removing the pier toll was a significant investment in improving access and supporting local tourism. Adding a 25 percent discount at RockReef and PierZip means families can enjoy even more of what Bournemouth has to offer while keeping costs under control.”
The discount applies to selected activities within RockReef and PierZip, and will run until 1 September.
“RockReef features 28 Clip ‘n Climb walls, a vertical slide, a highline aerial obstacle course, and PierZip, the world’s first pier-to-shore zip wire,” reported the Bournemouth Daily Echo.
“Since opening in 2014, RockReef and PierZip have welcomed millions of visitors and become a key indoor and outdoor adventure destination on the south coast.”
