Following Brighton Pier Group’s decision to offload major assets such as Brighton Palace Pier, the group has confirmed it is seeking a buyer for the Paradise Island Adventure Golf business.
The estate of seven mini-golf courses is spread across England and Scotland, and is currently being advertised by the specialist Licensed and Leisure team at Colliers estate agents.
“As a market leader in the family-focussed indoor golf sector, the business includes seven venues, all located in prominent mixed-use retail and leisure schemes, in Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Derby, Cheshire, Plymouth and Rushden Lakes,” said a Colliers spokesperson.
“The venues range from 8,000 sq ft to 24,000 sq ft and include two 18-hole courses with creative themes such as tropical islands, ancient ruins and exotic jungles.”
Commenting on the sale, Colliers’ licensed and leisure specialist Paul Bugeja said “each of the Paradise Island Adventure Golf sites are strategically located with a presence in some of the UK’s most sought-after retail and leisure schemes.”
“This presents a rare opportunity to acquire a business which has consistently delivered strong operating profits, with potential to grow sales further through investment in the estate and wider business.”
BPG had acquired the Paradise Island Adventure Golf business eight years ago in a £10.5m deal.
