Deluxe Bingo has raised £10,000 for St Michael’s Hospice, following a year-long partnership which saw £100 added to the total each time a full house was called on number 90.

The money was officially presented by Godden Gaming MD Jeremy Godden to Hastings and Rother MP Helena Dollimore, who accepted the cheque on behalf of the local charity.

“St Michael’s Hospice are incredibly thankful to the team at Deluxe Bingo Hastings for their wonderful support,” said fundraising manager Kirsty Williams. “This will help us continue to provide vital services to the local community of Hastings and Rother who need, free of charge, supporting them to live well with dying, death and loss.”

“We must raise over £6.3m every year to continue to provide our care and support. We’re thrilled to be chosen as the charity of the year by a much loved, local venue.”

Following the presentation, Godden said: “We’ve got some exciting plans in the pipeline for the Deluxe, so there’s plenty more to look forward to.”
