E-Service is going out of its way to help seaside arcades better engage with the next generation of players through a series of smart investments that optimise the experience for young people, including the latest in payment technology.
With recent polling revealing that 25 to 34 year olds are some of the most vocal fans of the arcade sector, the company is encouraging operators to make their venues “immersive, intuitive, and inclusive for Gen Z and grandparents alike.”
“Our mission at E-Service is to help operators upgrade with purpose by enhancing the player journey while protecting their bottom line,” said MD Mike Clokie. “That’s why we’re focused on updating aged change machines with new tech like the E-Service 5000e, a smart unit that accepts cash, card, and contactless payments.”
“It also includes built-in media screens, allowing venues to upload promotional content – whether it’s a new redemption game, a menu update, or even a shoutout to a high score – directly from a mobile phone. We’re also helping operators streamline their change points to reduce queues and maintenance, while improving the overall experience for players of all ages.”
Clokie believes that E-Service’s work is now about “more than just spares and repairs,” with considered investment helping “future-proof our industry.”
“Because when it comes to keeping arcades alive and thriving, there’s one thing we all agree on: we owe it to the next generation to get this right.”
