Earls Court spotlight to shine on UDC’s Dance Show 120Hz and new pushers

Ahead of the last trade show of the year, UDC’s Mark Horwood highlights a strong product line-up built on innovation and earning power. Speaking to Coinslot, he spotlights Dance Show 120Hz, Galaxy Hunter, Demon Tower and Popeye Dizzy Divers – standout titles set to draw crowds and keep operators ahead of the game.

Coinslot: There’s plenty happening on the political and regulatory front as we head into ACOS 2025, but it remains one of the most important showcases for the industry. What are you most looking forward to at this year’s event?

Mark Horwood: ACOS is all about being face to face with customers and them getting hands on the new games and equipment.

We’ll be showing off many new games early for visitors, well ahead of 2026 and the EAG show, including games that made their debut at IAAPA Barcelona where they received a great reception.

Coinslot: Despite a tough economic climate, the industry has delivered strong products and innovation. What new launches or developments will visitors see from Reflex at ACOS?

Mark Horwood: The new rhythm Dance Show 120Hz game is definitely going to be one to play, with high precision timing and a great looking cabinet – it’s a fun game too!

In pushers we’re bringing along Galaxy Hunter and Demon Tower, from the same stable as Tornado, as well as timeless cartoon character Popeye in Popeye Dizzy Divers.

At UDC we focus on quality, performance and value for money. It’s our business to make sure that the games we bring to the market are not just affordable, but that they’ll earn their way.

Our hit/miss ratio is off the charts with so many great earning games over the years. Savvy operators know it’s a no brainer to embrace the new games that they have a good feeling about.

Coinslot: We’re now entering the last stretch of 2025 – how would you sum up the year for Reflex in terms of growth, partnerships, and product success?

Mark Horwood:  UDC has visited and exhibited at more exhibitions and shows in more countries this year than any other.

It’s always gratifying to see customers in person and introduce ourselves and our games to new people.

Coinslot: There’s no escaping the political and regulatory uncertainty facing the industry right now. What changes do you believe are essential to support growth across the UK’s land-based sector?

Mark Horwood: The biggest impact for all companies across all sectors of economy is the added costs for employing staff.

It’s hard enough on employers as it is without adding extra burdens.  Fingers crossed that the next budget doesn’t make it even harder.

Quick-fire round

Product: The must have product on your stand this year?

Mark Horwood: Tornado – but it you already have one (which many do!) then probably Galaxy Hunter or Demon Tower whichever takes your fancy.

Triennial Review: your message to the minister?

Mark Horwood: We fully support Bacta’s efforts to increase stakes and prize levels.

Policy: One regulatory change that must be made?

Mark Horwood: The role of a distributor needs to be understood better. We have a different business model, we make a single sale, rather than on going revenue like an operator. We’re not directly involved in gaming activity.
