Funstation has confirmed it will open a new venue in Newcastle, bringing its mix of arcade amusements, immersive attractions and entertainment to The Gate retail complex.

Though no opening date has been set for the site, Funstation is currently recruiting for Team Leader, suggesting the company may be ready to launch as soon as autumn. 

“Funstation, a brand that already has venues in the likes of Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Leeds, is bound for Newcastle,” reported the Chronicle. “Describing itself as ‘the ultimate destination for fun,’ Funstation combines exciting experiences, brilliant prizes and entertainment for families, friends and fun-seekers of all ages.” 

“Every venue has its own unique mix of games, attractions and special offers, meaning that no city’s Funstation is the same. Funstation has now been established for 20 years and is famous for offering everything from classic carnival favourites to immersive experiences.”
