Guardian Compliance is here: RBW Systems to demonstrate the Bacta portal replacement

Building on its trusted Guardian product suite, RBW Systems will demonstrate Guardian Compliance at ACOS – a modern compliance platform that will replace the Bacta portal, streamlining regulatory processes, responsible play, and operational control alongside Guardian TITO. RBW’s Commercial and Marketing Manage James Wheeler explains.

RBW Systems will demonstrate Guardian Compliance, the modern successor to the Bacta portal, at this year’s ACOS.

Developed as the next evolution of RBW’s digital compliance technology, the platform aims to deliver greater efficiency, transparency, and confidence for operators across the gaming sector.

“Guardian Compliance is a modern compliance platform replacing the Bacta portal, built to simplify and modernise operator compliance processes,” explained James Wheeler, commercial and marketing manager at RBW Systems. “Market roll-out is planned for January 2026, in line with the EAG show. At this point existing Bacta portal customers will be ported across to the new solution. There will be a clear schedule for this, with organisation with Bacta throughout.”

The platform introduces several new capabilities aimed at streamlining compliance operations, with Wheeler explaining that “semi-automated quarterly returns cut time and manual effort, enabling operators to manage and report compliance data within a single, intuitive system.”

Central to the platform is a commitment to responsible gambling and regulatory alignment. “Integrated player monitoring tools track vulnerable customers across visits and sites, supporting responsible play and early intervention,” continued Wheeler. “Configurable data capture allows operators to tailor dropdowns and recording fields to match internal policies.”

Ease of adoption has also been a core design focus. As Wheeler outlined, “quick adoption through an intuitive interface that embeds compliance into daily operations with minimal training” will allow operators to transition seamlessly.

And it’s flexible, said Wheeler with its “future-ready design ensuring the platform evolves in step with Gambling Commission guidance and regulatory change.”

Guardian Compliance sits at the heart of the wider Guardian Product Suite, working independently or fully integrated with the well-established Guardian TITO.

“Guardian TITO is deployed in 350+ venues, powering 5,000+ machines and has processed over £1 billion in TITO tickets – a trusted and proven core system,” Wheeler confirmed. “It provides accurate transaction and variance reporting, secure ticketing, and a centralised multi-site view for complete operational control.”

It also includes AML and suspicious activity alerts, supporting compliance and risk management, alongside automated reporting and analysis functions that streamline processes and deliver actionable insight.

“Guardian TITO is highly configurable, adapting to different operator environments and linking seamlessly with Guardian Compliance to create a unified, future-proof operational platform,” concluded Wheeler.

And it’s all on view at next week’s ACOS.
