Twitch streamer and influencer Jakey Davies visited Blackpool’s Central Pier on 11 July, taking on rides such as the dodgems while posing for photos with fans.

Though Davies is perhaps unlikely to be recognised by anyone over the age of 21, the internet personality boasts a significant online following for his gaming content.

“Great to welcome Jakey Davies and his friends to Central Pier today,” said a spokesperson. “Thanks for stopping by, we can’t wait to see you all again soon!”

Commenting on the Central Pier’s post, Katie Louise Shepherd said “I can’t believe I saw him, I had a photo with him,’ however others weren’t so lucky.

“My daughter is fuming,” said Alison Cooper. “We don’t even live in Blackpool but if she’d have known he was going to be there she would have wanted a day off school!”
