Buzz Bingo has achieved its three-year goal of raising £200,000 for the Stroke Association, with the bingo brand continuing to fundraise for the charity via weekly games taking place throughout Stroke Awareness Month.
From skydiving, marathon running, cake sales, and head shaving, Buzz Bingo’s local clubs and customers have been fundraising across the UK to reach the “phenomenal goal,” with £30,000 raised through May alone.
“Every day in May, 240 people will shockingly wake up to the life-changing impact of a stroke,” said a spokesperson. “The Stroke Association, which is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and families, and Buzz Bingo, the leading bingo UK provider, are aiming to raise awareness about the impact and help more people find strength through support.”
“For those wanting to get involved with their love of bingo, players can get involved in Buzz Bingo’s charity game played twice every Thursday in May via Live Bingo. The games take place each afternoon and evening during Buzz Bingo’s Main Event bingo session.”
The charity game costs £1 and is available on both paper and touchscreens. All stakes less prize money and tax is donated to the Stroke Association.
