Mecca Bingo has launched a new development programme designed to support the “next generation of leaders,” with a first cohort of 14 employees embarking on the three-month initiative this week.

The programme offers “a comprehensive learning journey” combining formal training, hands-on experience, and additional on-the-job development, to build skills, confidence and leadership capability.

“Mecca Bingo is an ambitious business that delivers winning moments for both customers and colleagues,” said people director Clare Lord. “This week, we took another positive step forward in the colleague experience with the launch of our brand-new development programme, ‘Magnify Your Game.’”

The first session of the programme saw colleagues take part in an in-person introductory session and seminar led by Lord.

“I’m really looking forward to watching the cohort grow and develop through the programme,” Lord added, while Rank Group’s talent and learning director Clare Kirk hailed the Magnify Your Game initiative as a “fantastic programme to build our leadership talent.”
