The National Fairground Museum at Statfold County Park has been described as “exceptional” by Ukrainian broadcaster 112, after reporter Shostal Oleksandr visited the Tamworth attraction this summer.
The collection of vintage rides and sideshows was relocated from the Fairground Museum in Dingles after it closed in November last year, and has since proved a hit for fair-loving families and historical enthusiasts alike.
“We were among the first visitors captivated by the heritage rides and attractions at the museum during its grand opening at the start of the holidays,” wrote Oleksandr. “Dazzling fairground art welcomes guests, making every visit exceptional.”
“There are attractions for the whole family, including fun for children and relaxation for adults. It is a place worth visiting for quality family leisure.”
With Statfold County Park already offering steam trains, vintage cars, a roller disco and soft play areas, Oleksandr noted that “new opportunities have opened for visitors” as part of the move.
“Other Dingles attractions have moved to different museums, but… we will definitely return to enjoy all the attractions at the fairground museum in 2025.”
