Popeye Dizzy Divers anchors UDC’s IAAPA Europe success

UDC’s Matt Bland reported strong interest and a full order book following IAAPA Europe 2025 in Barcelona, with new pushers Popeye Dizzy Divers and The Smurfs, as well as the Breaking News photobooth, winning over operators from across the continent.

UDC’s showcase at IAAPA Europe 2025 in Barcelona proved a strong springboard for its 2026 lineup, generating significant interest and advance orders for the company’s latest innovations.

Matt Bland, head of IT & creative at UDC, said the orders reflect growing operator confidence ahead of the new season.

“We wrote up orders for delivery before Christmas, as well as orders for the new season in 2026 – these savvy operators want to make sure that they’re at the front of the queue for new machines so that they don’t miss out.”

He was pleased to see a “large number of UK customers attending the show and visiting the UDC stand” alongside operators from across Europe – all looking for next seasons chart-toppers.

“We have a great product line up for 2026, with the new games we’ve been testing performing very well,” continued Bland. “These include the Popeye Dizzy Divers and the latest update of The Smurfs pushers from Elaut, as well as other machines such as the Breaking News photobooth.”

Despite post-Brexit complexities, UDC’s products continue to be well-received across the continent, and the company remains well-versed at serving this demand.

“No doubt, as a UK based company, it can prove quite challenging dealing with Europe due to the additional paperwork, but we’re used to it,” detailed Bland. “It’s all part of parcel trading internationally which we’ve been doing since the very earliest days of the company, each territory has its own idiosyncrasies and requirements.”

Looking ahead, Bland expects momentum to build further as UDC prepares to showcase the strength of its latest range at upcoming London events.

“We’re looking forward to showing these at ACOS, along with a few more ahead of EAG, where they’re likely to receive a positive reception, just as at IAAPA Europe,” he concluded.
