Clacton Pier is undertaking the final preparations for its first free fireworks display of the year, with the attraction once again partnering with Dynamic Fireworks of Colchester to provide “a top programme for 2025.”
The first display will take place at 9pm on Easter Sunday, 20 April, and will be followed by ten others running right through until November, as the pier thanks local residents and loyal customers for their ongoing support.
“The pyrotechnics are a very popular part of the diary, about giving something back to the local community to enjoy and help keep visitors in the town for the evening,” said communications director Nigel Brown.
“They are staged at a significant cost, but are well worth it to thank those residents and others from further away who come and spend their hard earned money with us. We have worked with Dynamic Fireworks for many years now and they are integral to the programme for both supplying and setting off the fireworks from the seaward end of the pier.”
As was the case in 2023 and 2024, a number of displays will be set to music, while there will also be a special lower noise level performance on 8 November.
