RBW Systems prepare to launch next-generation Guardian Compliance platform for EAG 2026

It’s a busy year for RBW Systems as they expand their Guardian product suite with the development of their new Compliance module, set to replace the Bacta Portal. Much of that was on view at ACOS 2025 where the company was able to demonstrate some of the efficiencies and assurances that the Guardian Compliance system will deliver to the trade association’s members. But there was so much more from RBW Systems at the ILEC in London. Commercial and Marketing Manager James Wheeler explains.

Coinslot: How did Acos 2025 go for you – was there good footfall and business conducted during the two days?

James Wheeler: It was an excellent ACOS this year. We had a great time, catching up with customers, industry partners, and meeting new potential customers.

There was a lot of interest in the Guardian system and the work we’ve been doing to enhance its functionality. A notable development, which has been one of our key focuses, is Guardian Compliance and its improvement on existing compliance systems.

We’re in the business of trying to make operators lives easier, and believe our new compliance module does just that.

We’re working in partnership with Bacta to release this as the Bacta Portal replacement, and aiming for full market launch at EAG 2026.

Coinslot: Were there any notable wins from the two days – new agreements, installations, partnerships?

James Wheeler: Our main focus at ACOS is to meet with our customers, gain valuable feedback, and demonstrate our ongoing development efforts. That’s the key element of the show for us – and it delivers on that very well.

This show gives us time to sit down with operators and focus on the detail, getting an understanding of how the Guardian system can evolve to continue to meet operational requirements.

It was a very positive show which brought us a number of strong leads and opportunities – which will make for an exciting 2026.

Coinslot You had a number of key innovations on show, talk us through some of them and what was the customer reaction to your portfolio?

James Wheeler: Obviously  one of our key innovations on show was the Guardian Compliance system which will replace the Bacta portal in the coming months.

We’ve spent much of this year on R&D and have made significant progress and there was considerable interest in where we are taking this.

The system is more efficient, transparent and it simplifies the compliance processes, which will reduce the burden and headache of gambling compliance.

What we recognised, especially from the conversations we’ve been having, is compliance is more important than ever – and operators need a system that makes their life simpler, whilst protecting and future proofing their business.

And Guardian Compliance has been designed to do just that.

Our core product Guardian TITO also captured a lot of attention from potential new customers, which is always great to see. There was a lot of interest in how it allows operators to see a holistic view of their data, and effectively manage their operations. Just like with compliance, our approach to systems is to make your life easier.

Talking to potential new customers about Guardian TITO it was great to be able to understand their requirements, and explain how the Guardian systems functionality can help support their operations.

Coinslot: ACOS is always a good barometer of the mood in the market. How would you describe the industry vibe and what were the main talking points?

James Wheeler: We’re an industry built on entrepreneurial spirit, and the mood remains typically resilient.

There were of course talking points over the upcoming government budget, potential changes to MGD, and the increased focus on compliance by the Gambling Commission.

Against that backdrop, operators are understandably looking more closely at how to run leaner, smarter businesses. Having a clear understanding of your operations, what’s performing well and where efficiencies can be made, is going to be essential in navigating whatever headwinds lie ahead.

Coinslot: With a brief break between now and January’s EAG, what new innovations or projects can we expect at the London show?

James Wheeler: We do have a very busy couple of months ahead of us. We’re going to be finalising the Guardian Compliance product ahead of the wider market rollout.

We’re also focused on improving our analytics and reporting, with some exciting announcements scheduled for EAG around this. Our focus is going to be to make analytics and data accessible, with clear actionable insights.

This level of functionality will be a game changer for operators, we’ll be announcing exactly what operators can expect closer to the time, but keep an eye out!

A show of worth

James Wheeler said……. “It was a very positive show which brought us a number of strong leads and opportunities. And … we also cut a big break during the two days which we’ll likely announce a little later in the year……
