As ACOS 2025 approaches, Reflex Gaming is preparing to showcase its latest B3 innovation – the Flaming 500. The new £500 jackpot model will debut at the show, featuring a mix of established favourites and new titles built around a flexible commercial structure. With the order book opening at ACOS, Reflex aims to underline its focus on reliability, choice and player appeal ahead of the busy winter season. MD Quentin Stott explains how.
Coinslot: The political and regulatory picture is pretty turbulent as we head into next week’s ACOS. Despite that, it remains one of the key showcases for the industry. What are you hoping to take away from this year’s event?
Quentin Stott: As always ACOS is a great social show and ideal to catch up with customers we may not have seen face to face for a while.
We are aiming to reassure partners that despite said concerns we remain committed to listening, learning from them and delivering products and services with consistent performance, excellent reliability and an operational life that’s second to none.
Coinslot: Setting aside the tough economic backdrop, the industry has shown real creativity in recent years. What new products or innovations will visitors find on your stand at the show?
Quentin Stott: We are really proud to be able to showcase to customers our brand new B3 Flaming 500. Players will experience £500 jackpot versions of our favourite games along with new and fresh content and titles.
The order book opens at the show and early deliveries will be benefit from installs prior to the busy Christmas and Holiday season.
Flaming 500s commercial model is disruptive and instantly attractive too: Price, content subscription, road mapped releases and operator choice is at the forefront of our offer.
Coinslot: As we enter the final quarter of 2025, how would you sum up the key highlights of the year for Reflex in terms of growth, partnerships, or product development?
Quentin Stott: Community has been huge for us, we set out our plans to deliver a compelling and diverse product offer for the bingo and AGC operators, give them some choice and diversity in their venues and for their players and we have been overwhelmed with both the support from partners and the growth in players adopting and embracing our games and unique Community Bonuses.
Community Cat C is available on variety of cabinets to suit all budgets and payment plans too.
Coinslot: The sector continues to navigate serious political, economic, and regulatory challenges. From your perspective, what changes are most urgently needed to help the UK’s land-based industry grow again?
Quentin Stott: We all recognise that bingo halls, AGCs, pubs and clubs are vital elements of the high street, provide a much needed social sphere and form key ingredients of our community make up and essential services all supported by our leisure industry.
Many of us are large employers, we are expected to absorb cost increases such as NI and minimum wage with no ability to increase our margins to accommodate or offset.
Business rates are outdated and crippling to these essential organisations. We need, as a priority, changes that can save high streets from boarded up venues, empty units and stave off a reduction and loss of these essential community assets.
Quick-fire round
Product: The must have product on your stand this year?
Quentin Stott: Flaming 500 B3 – with its Scorching Price point, 365 free operational days content deal, Games portfolio and presentation.
Triennial Review: you’re message to the minister?
Quentin Stott: For well over a decade, we have had no review or adjustment to accommodate for inflationary and operational challenges. Rising costs and growing pressure is evident and impacting the sector.
We urge the minister to appraise this, consider the leisure industry and hospitality trades future as a whole to ensure we don’t wither on the vine.
Regulation: marks out of 10 for the
Commission?
Quentin Stott: Very low marks!
The White paper implementation uncertainty (albeit driven mostly by DCMS) and the Commission’s painful review of GMTS with its deferrals and additional requests for information, has demonstrated a lack of understanding that has led to industry uncertainty, a reduction in investment and other negative impacts upon the sector.
Save the high street
