Paddy Power operator Flutter Entertainment has reported a UK and Ireland market revenue increase of 18 percent in 2024, reaching £2.8bn.
Retail revenue rose by 16 percent to £1.3bn, driven by a strong machine performance and high-profile sporting events such as the UEFA European Football Championship. Across both nations the company operates 563 Paddy Power betting shops, which have benefited from increased footfall and higher engagement levels, supported by promotions and innovations in betting products. Meanwhile, online revenue increased by 2 percent to £1.5bn.
“I am proud of the progress we made during 2024 as we delivered against our strategic priorities and enhanced our leadership positions,” commented group CEO Peter Jackson. “Outside of the US, our commitment to first-to-market product innovation led to market share gains in key markets, including the UK and Italy, while in Australia, we saw encouraging trends in our player base.
