Serena Silcock-Prince helped raise £42,700 for Queenscourt Hospice on 15 November, by taking part in Strictly Queenscourt 2025 at the Prince of Wales Hotel.
The Silcock’s Leisure operations manager, who was paired on the night with professional dancer Steven Tyrer, was responsible for adding over £3,000 to the total funds.
“An amazing evening,” said Silcock-Prince. “Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for the love and support.”
“So proud to have danced alongside some wonderful local people who have donated their time and hearts. Thank you for all the support.”
The annual charity event saw local businesspeople paired with professionals from the Marshside School of Dance in order to compete for the Strictly Queenscourt crown, with property developer Adam Mackin and partner Megan Hosker taking the grand prize.
“A huge congratulations to our Strictly Queenscourt 2025 winners and all of this year’s dancers,” said Queenscourt’s fundraising manager Liz Hartley.
“It takes months of training and preparation to get ready for this event, and they did themselves and our audience proud on a stunning night of entertainment.”
“We rely on the support of the public to keep providing exceptional palliative care for people in West Lancashire, Southport and Formby when they need it the most.”
