The annual Southport Santa Sprint returned to Southport on 7 December, with hundreds of fundraisers completing the course dressed as Father Christmas in aid of charity.

Once again, Silcock’s Funland acted as a start line for the 3k and 5k runs, and the event itself was sponsored by Silcock’s Leisure, helping raise £8,500 for Queenscourt
Hospice.

“The 2025 Southport Santa Sprint was an amazing day,” said Stand Up for Southport’s Andrew Brown. “Fabulous to see so many runners in Santa suits running around Southport to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice.”

Runners met outside Silcock’s Funland and enjoyed free goes on the Carousel and at Masters Crazy Golf. Sponsors included Silcock Leisure Group, Tik Taco and
Replica Print.”

Commenting on the success of the event, Silcock’s operations director Serena Silcock-Prince said: “An amazing morning at the annual Queenscourt Hospice Santa Sprint. So proud to support and sponsor this event!”
