Stuart German: “Looking forward we have a full and exciting roadmap coming up in 2026, and we are already off to a very strong start!”

Cabinets and content ruled the roost for Light & Wonder in London last week. Kascada continues to court attention as did this month’s upcoming B3 release Rainbow Riches Treasure Train. Stuart German, Senior Sales Director, guided Coinslot through an impressive array of equipment at EAG 2026.

Coinslot: How did the show go for you this year: did it meet your expectations?

Stuart German: A very successful show, working together with Crown Direct to showcase our cabinet line-up for 2026 of the Kascada K27, Kascada Slant Top and T8 Mk8i.

Following on from a very strong 2025 there is tangible anticipation from operators about our 2026 content roadmap, particularly with the strength of January’s upcoming B3 release Rainbow Riches Treasure Train.

Coinslot: Any key developments finalised at EAG – new agreements signed, new appointments, installations agreed etc?

Stuart German: Yes to all the above.  We continue to develop our platform to meet the upcoming regulatory requirements as well as operators needs, and we laid out dates and schedules to implement these developments with our customers.

Demand for our products remains consistently high, with our content really driving operator success and revenues.

Crown welcomed Neil McCartney to their team, Neil was recently appointed as a Key Account Manager. Neil’s experience and knowledge of L&W will enable him to hit the ground running.

Coinslot: What were the stand highlights – which products caught the attention and what was reaction to your portfolio of products?

Stuart German: Our Kascada Upright cabinet remained in popular demand, whilst our Kascada Slant Top received a great deal of interest from operators looking to expand seated areas of their venues.

Our market leading content was again the star of our show, with our new releases showcasing some of the talent and creativity our customers have come to expect from L&W

Coinslot: It’s going to be a defining year for the business – new legislation and new regulation. How did you gauge the general mood of the industry and what were the main talking points?

Stuart German: There’s an undercurrent of frustration at the lack of clarity regarding implementation dates for the new GMTS regulations, tied together with the potential changes to the 80:20 legislation.

Both manufacturers and operators are keen to move forward and plan in the longer term, however the lack of details hinders this, forcing a reactionary approach instead of a proactive development strategy.

Coinslot: Now the show is over, what’s on your agenda going into spring in terms of new products, new projects and more exhibitions?

Stuart German: Well firstly straight over to ICE, looking forwards to do it all again next week.  The back-to-back dates of EAG and ICE is an area we as an industry need to address so we can all get the best out of these two trade shows.

Looking forward we have a full and exciting roadmap coming up in 2026, and we are already off to a very strong start!

Our teams will be busy working with our customers to deliver new cabinets and bring this superb content to the players.
