The Reel Vegas has opened a new arcade on Blackpool Promenade, following the success of its two-storey flagship on Church Street, first opened in November 2024.
The venue has been welcomed by local players, while online slots community Old School Nudgers hailed it as “even more great news for anyone planning a trip to the seaside.”
“The Reel Vegas on the Prom officially opens its doors today, bringing a new chapter of classic fruits, along with all the latest games too,” said OSN. “Whether you’re a fan of the old-school favourites or the latest digital machines, there’s something for everyone!”
“Blackpool has traditionally been the arcade capital of England, with generations of visitors making memories in its famous seaside venues. It’s fantastic to see another retro arcade opening its doors and helping to keep that unique Blackpool magic alive.”
The first Reel Vegas on Church Street has gone from strength to strength since owners Ryan Turner and Luke Jones invested £1.2m in turning a vacant unit into a gaming haven, featuring hundreds of fruit machines and digital slots from Turner’s 500-strong collection.
“I thought it would be nice to bring them back out for people to play again,” he told the Gazette. “A lot of these type of machines have been skipped or binned, which is a real shame because they are such fun to play.”
