Inspired Entertainment’s Vantage terminal appears to have delivered on its promise, helping the company achieve a 2 percent increase in full-year and Q4 revenue, with income from the Leisure segment alone rising 7 percent during the last three months to 31 December 2024.
Inspired Entertainment has reported total group revenue for the three months to 31 December increased 2 percent year-on-year to £64.1m, thanks to strong performance across its Leisure and Gaming segments.
With the Vantage terminal continuing to deliver in both the pub and LBO markets, the company was able to mitigate a 22 percent decline in revenue for its Virtual Sports products, achieving total full-year revenue of £229.5m.
“We ended the year with a fourth quarter that reflects the strength and resilience of our diversified business model,” said executive chair Lorne Weil.
“As we look ahead, we are committed to executing our strategic priorities: expanding our digital businesses, optimizing our land-based operations, and investing in new market opportunities.”
Despite Gaming revenue dropping 1 percent during both Q4 and the full-year, Weil said: “Our partnership with William Hill is progressing well with the installation of 5,000 new Vantage cabinets, on track to be completed by the end of the first quarter. “
“These next-gen terminals have consistently driven double-digit growth, and when combined with the results we are seeing from our operational initiatives, we have a solid foundation for further growth in 2025.”
Meanwhile, the Vantage also made waves in the pub market, helping the Leisure segment deliver “steady growth” of 6 percent for the full-year, and 7 percent for Q4, alongside an uptick in Inspired’s bingo, MSA and holiday park businesses.
Overall, Virtual Sports was the lead income strand, delivering growth of 45 percent during the last quarter, and 19 percent for the full-year.
